When working on a Bizagi project, sometimes you need to clean cache and temporary folders. The reason for this action is that the web application caches the content. So in this situation, all the changes you’ve made are not shown in the Work Portal. This can happen on changes you’ve made on forms, expression rules, or when you’ve changed environment parameters and many more.
How to clean cache and temporary folders manually
Bizagi has posted a well-written article on how to do this, step by step. The process is straight forward but the only downside is that it does take you a little bit of time to complete it. So why not automate all these steps?
Automate the process
To automate the process I created a batch file that can be executed in a simple and ingenious way. I used it successfully in more than 4 projects so far. I can’t come up with a precious figure on the amount of time that I have saved with this automation, but I am quite sure it was a lot. And not just my time, but also the time of my colleagues.
